You did so well considering, I make a gazillion mistakes on the Substack app on my mobile, and don't check every word thoroughly enough, then press post without realising. I rarely make mistakes when I'm typing with my laptop, but that teeny weeny keyboard is so frustrating for me to write on, the app is a big impediment.

That you achieved lots of love and claps is more of a testament to your writing, and that good words don't always need pictures or be added to a publication.

I've been away from medium for nearly 2 years. All my old publications have gone and I'm too scared to apply to any new ones. I stopped writing on this platform because PSILove You rejected one of my poems, saying it wasn't up to scratch. I came back and everything has changed. I don't even know how to find a suitable publication now, so I rarely bother to do anything but self-publish.

I sent a draft to one publisher, but they did never get back to me at all. Figured I wasn't quite good enough. My ego bruises easily and self doubt is the easiest thing in the world.
