When I am nervous, such as when my kids completed their final high school or university exams, I made cushions. Lots of throw cushions.

I also love potpourri and roses, the real thing and in patterns on dresses. I’m sorry you’re allergic and it keeps you out of bookstores.

I read your cartoons. I loved Bookstore.

It made me laugh at myself and realise how crazy I must appear to others.

I find it incredible that your drawing and one single sentence can reveal so much about an aspect of life that I never considered before.

Your work surprised me. It changed my viewpoint.

It inspired a whole other post called Pink Cushions, which I dedicated to you.

I hope you like it.

Thanks Rolli, thanks a million.
