Ann, your title intrigued me from the start. Your article engaged all my senses from then on until I write this. Beautiful language and such searing honesty. In Australia, we can’t buy fresh cranberries, so I was interested in what you do with them. I wasn’t expecting a perfectly well rounded story, with all the right stuff in beginning, middle and glorious ending. This is the neatest, sweetest thing I have read in weeks. Wholesome like “Little House on the Prairie” but palpably real like only the best memoirs ever can be as well. I love your writing and wish I could be as succinct. Your words, phrases and sentences move along at a tremendous pace. I almost read everything too fast because I was hungry for more. Thank you.
