With tails, maybe

It is vitally important to share your feelings with someone, always.

It does help keep loneliness at bay.

Telling others what’s up.
Baring your soul to another soul, especially one who loves you, is all good.

And when anything you have to say becomes overwhelming, or too much, you can bare your soul and release everything you want to say to a pet.

Be it a dog, cat, bird, or goldfish.

Pets don’t blab and pets don’t judge, unless you don’t share a little cheese!

Pets just purr or wag their tail, or tweet a sweet tweet.
Fish in a tank blow bubbles that pop and disappear at the surface, where you want all your secrets to go after all.

If there’s no one around to share your feelings with, a pet is a substitute!

Pets are better than people in some ways.

Pets never hold anything against you; they like having you around.
As long as you feed them, they like you fine.

Dogs are capable of loving their owners more than they love themselves. Pets need you, they like you, and they accept you as is, no matter what.

Therapy pets are a thing, but any pet can be your therapist.
Pets never shut you down or tell you to shut up.
The most offensive thing they can do is to go to sleep in your monologue. They don’t charge by the hour or tell you what you don’t want to know.

The only problem with pets is that they don’t live long enough.
That, and possibly picking up their poop in a baggie, are the drawbacks.

Pets have unlimited love and affection to offer, even in your worst times.
